The 2024 Odyssey has over 160 cubic feet of interior space spread across three rows of seats. The 2024 Sienna offers similar specifications. Both vehicles are rated to carry up to eight adults. The 2024 Odyssey comes with active noise cancellation, resulting in a quieter and more refined cabin. It also gets active engine mounts as standard to reduce vibrations from the powertrain. The 2024 Sienna doesn’t offer these features.
The 2024 Sienna is available with a captain chair configuration for a premium experience. This reduces seating capacity to seven but improves second-row comfort and legroom. However, the 2024 Odyssey counters with Honda’s Magic Slide® seats as standard for the second row. These are three individual seats that can be slid fore-and-aft on their own. Moreover, there’s an intelligent traction management system with a snow mode. Hill start assist is also standard, as is Honda’s Eco Assist™ system.
The 2024 Toyota Sienna is only available as a hybrid. It features a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated 4-cylinder engine with a CVT gearbox and two electric motors. The system is rated for up to 245 horsepower. Buyers can select front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive configurations.
The 2024 Odyssey has Honda’s Sensing® suite as standard. This includes automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and blind-spot monitoring. A driver attention monitor, lane-keeping assistance, and rear cross-traffic alerting are also standard. The 2024 Sienna only provides some of these features, as it uses the older Toyota Safety Sense™ 2.0 suite.
